1945 is in very cold condition and is complete with cover Polk Mfg. The Carlisle bandage first aid kit (with crystalline sulfanilamide) is unopened and retains its original paint. 1943 is excellent and well-marked. The mess kit is in very good condition. The fork, spoon and knife are each well-marked and are each World War One dated (1918,1917 and 1917 marked, respectively), as was common with WW2 field-issue cutlery.
The magnetic compass is Swiss made by Plan Ltd and is marked US Engineer Corps. I have not tried to determine if the compass works and I offer it as a collectible (hopefully it works, but I make no representations in that regard). The e-tool shows a lot of honest field use and is VERY salty.
It is, however, complete and the handle retains its original paint. The cover is 1945 dated and made by Avery. None of the items have been cleaned or messed with...
